Currently, I am the only licensed builder of Tone Pod equipped guitars, and while I do have 10 body styles available, I am also interested in licensing out the patent pending Tone Pod system to other manufacturers.
The Tone Pod system is a specific modification to a guitar body done during manufacture. It is designed to keep the original aesthetic of the front of the guitar, but allow you to quickly swap out pickups to change the tone of the guitar. Because both the modification to the body during construction and the Tone Pod itself has to be extremely precise to fit together, the manufacturing process requires the use of precision CNC milling machines. As you can see in the pictures, from the front, it is not obvious that the guitar is equipped with a Tone Pod, however on the back, you can see the Tone Pod in the center of the back. While it would be possible to make a retrofit for existing guitars, but I do not want to do any modifications to vintage or potentially vintage instruments.
